The unique feature of the AX100U is its "Light Harmoniser." This gives the projector the ability to detect and automatically recalibrate itself to varying ambient light conditions. In total darkness it will reduce its lumen output and maximize black level. But when someone turns a light on, it will automatically boost lumen output to brighten the picture and make it easier to see.The PT-AX100U retains it's long 2.0 X zoom range as well as horizontal and vertical lens shift ( for maximum flexibility of positioning the projector). It puts you front and center for the latest concert, big game or Hollywood blockbuster film with up to a 174" wide (over 14.5 feet) High defination image. So you can spend the afternoon watching your favorite football team without having to close the drapes and still enjoy clear, brilliant images in crisp detail.
