Progressive Scan (Progressive Scan)

Some formats of digital television transmissions (720p, 480p), and some DVD players, high-quality, use one type of signal known as progressive scan. Instead of dividing each video frame into two camps as the sequential Video NTSC interlaced, progressive scan video allows you to view a complete framework at once. So, where standard NTSC video displays 30 frames (60 fields) per second, the video with progressive scan displays full 60 frames per second.

For use with progressive-scan video requires more bandwidth (there are twice as vertical information) and a horizontal scanning frequency faster than interlaced video. The progressive-scan image quality is more film, more specific and less scintillation. To use progressive scan, you will need a television capable of HDTV.

The video is a progressive signal more stable, more clearly and more luminous. This type of deployment is used in projectors and screens high-definition HDTV.
