Frame Speed (Speed table)

It is the speed at which the pictures are displayed. The frame rate for movies is 24 frames per second (24 fps). In regular NTSC video, the frame rate is 30 fps. The frame rate of a progressive scan format is twice as a form of interlace scanning. Example: the frame rate for DVD 480i is 30 fps (or 60 frames per second interlaced), to progressive scan DVD to 480p, is 60 fps.
