The conventional color wheel is composed of the three primary colors: red, green and blue over white. The adoption of BrilliantColor adds yellow, magenta and cyan shades of colors that are intermediate in the three primary colors, which allows the use of six colors for a much improved color reproduction. The color wheel is positioned between the lamp and the screen, and it spins faster than the eye can see to select the correct color. The speed of the color wheel is a significant factor in the prevalence of the rainbow effect. This color wheel, a component of the DLP® projection system, is used in data projectors, projectors for home theater systems, and rear-projection TV sets. It can work in diverse configuration and optical feature environments in answer to the applications. The color wheel revolves to beam colorful effects on your home or landscape. Three color wheels are included-traditional, pastels, and brights-to create a variety of special effects. The Color Wheel Projector is UL-listed for outdoor use. 56" cord. 4-1/2"W x 8"D x 12"H. 2-1/2 lbs. |
